We generally work with
our clients on an hourly fee arrangement at our customary hourly
rates in effect from time to time. This is the customary fee arrangement
for the type of work we do. The total fee is based upon the time
expended, which can be affected by numerous factors, including the
complexity of the project, the cooperation or adversity of the other
parties, etc. In addition to fees, the client is also responsible for paying or reimbursing our firm for any out-of-pocket expenses incurred, including, filing fees, copy costs, postage, long distance telephone calls, reasonable travel expenses, etc. We provide itemized monthly billing statements and ask that each statement be paid in full promptly following receipt. On new matters for clients where we do not have an established working relationship, we may require a retainer deposit and a written fee agreement. Mediation services are typically billed on a per day, or per half-day basis. If you have questions regarding the fees for Michael Seay for serving as the mediator in your case, please contact Michael Seay or Lori Hostetler for further information. If you have further questions about how we would charge for services on a specific project or our billing terms and procedures, please contact our attorneys. |
